Or lack there of. The wife and I both had off today so we decided to go for an afternoon ride and look for some fish. We came out of the inlet and headed north looking for bunker or good reads on the machine. Well we cruised all the way up to long branch both close to shore and off and only read bait. There were a few boats further north on the rocks but the fews boats i saw looked like they were only fishing bait reads. Took the cruise back south toward home again reading only bait. Nice cruise on the water but no fish to be found for me. Need the ocean to warm up a little more.

You are seven to twelve days from running up the beach looking at those marks and all of a sudden - see the screen light up with big red marks and bass with the feedbag on / chewing on bunker candies...:)

did you make bait and run in and out looking for fish or just run around at 15kts looking for solid marks?

once we got to asbury i did a zig zag pattern at like 10 knots maybe a little less looking for good marks. i try to avoid using a fish finder as reliable when i am going faster then 12 knots.

We will be out tomorrow pm. Water needs to warm back up a few, hopefully this wind doesn't drop it more today, hoping tomorrows heat turns em on again outside, at least the blues are around to corral and chum some bunker up!
