Tenacious Striper report May 10

[Tenacious Sportfishing]

Took some friends from Philadelphia to Raritan Bay for a day of clamming for stripers based on the recent positive reports. After 3 hours with only skates we were skeptical of our chances for success. Patience was the order of the day however, and once the current started moving with the outgoing we got our first striper bite. Five patient anglers were rewarded with a steady pick of nine stripers to 37". Highlight of the day was watching 12 yr old Jordan Martin catch his first Striper.
