Capt Mark and Capt Phil had limits on both boats Thursday fishing basically any method they wanted. Rich Alverado charter wanted to stay on live lining as long as possible and they picked away at fish all day fishing up with 16 bass. Capt. Mark trolled plugs and spoons and quickly nailed his limit up to 30 pounds then started jigging and had as many as he wanted. He finished up early releasing a bunch more and enjoyed the nicest day of the year on the water. They were fishing off of Long Branch and Sea Bright most of the day.
Today looks even nicer and the striper season seems to be in full swing with the bunker finally producing limits in the ocean. We just have a couple dates left for morning trips but some great afternoon dates so please reach out if interested - adam@canyonrunner. or 732-272-4445
