Suprise!!! 29in. Pike from the gorge..took him outta their opened him up and he had a wild brownie in his gut..If ne one can help me out crop the pic down of whateva cuz its not letting me post it..kinda sux for my first post

probably swam down from budd lake... i bet it had a blast munching on trout fingerlings all the way downstream

Thanx for the report, heard there are lots of them in the lower South Branch, major flooding years ago are just starting to show the effects now.

Word in the woods is someone stocked em up in califon pond and go figure after a flood they got into the river...and im havein a hell of a time with this pic man..dallen8584@yahoo.com is my email hit me up and ill try it that way or if chris got a min i could send it to his face bk..but otha wise im ova it man cuz im gettin aggrivated i normaly dnt have a prob but idk what the deal is..ohh its posted on the round valley FB also...but thanx for the effort..

They are a pretty common accurance in the upper south branch for the last ten yrs er so...Never heard of anyone stocking them tho, would like more info on that if its possible....
I have seen them from the start at budd lake, all the way down to solitude dam...A few yrs ago when the boys took over shannons fly shop, they removed somewhere around thirty of them, from all up and down the river from that pond....
If you catch one, by ALL means TAKE IT OUT....They do not belong in a small coldwater fisherie....If you don't want to kill them at the very least relocate them back to budd lake , where they thrive in gr8 numbers;)
Were you able to revive the brownie??? haha j/k
