I put that post up a week or so ago.... Stirred up a lil controversy... I won't make that mistake again....as I learned;)

As I said in the other post, it is legal to target most species of fish in our waters when they are out of season. It it is perfectly legal to catch and release fluke during the closed season. However, you may not target striped bass during their closed season as they are managed differently. I am not making this stuff up, this is the law. Anyone who doubts this should simply call the law enforcement division of our Bureau of Marine Fisheries and ask them. They may be reached at (609 ) 748-2050.
