What a great day.Instant hook ups as soon as got on the anchor.Limited in a short time then played catch and release for hours.First time customer Jim had double digits on his first chunking trip.Great job!Biggest was 23lbs. and all keepers!Game on.

By far the best fishing for me the this year. Capt. Sal put us on the fish right away. All the fish were keepers from 19 lbs to biggest around 26 lbs and all of them were caught on bunker chunks(Good call Capt Sal). Got limits very early and then CPR(catch, pic, release). Slowed down a little around noon but we were still catching them during the slack. A little choppy going out in the morning but the ride home was better. Over all a good day on water with lots of workout pulling good fish. Capt Sal has wealth of knowledge about Raritan Bay fishing and he gave us good pointers to raise our chances while chunking( yeah; it's different than Claming).

Thanks Capt. Sal for a great day on water and above all taking us out with less number of fares(4 comitted, 2 arrived; there may be legit reason but nobody called in to cancel as I know from Capt.Sal). I hope once folks commit to an Open Charter Boat they show up on the docks.

Hoping to get out there again soon, some time during the week, weekend for sure.

Fish on....

Capt. Sal,

Used to happen to me with classes that ended up costing me money to run the thing.

I found even collecting as little as only $10 deposit (via pay pal) motivates them to show up. Go figure!

Bigger group you can afford a no show or two. In marginal groups its a go no-go decision and you are f**ked! Got burned many times on end /early season classes.
