Sorry for the delay, got this up on Facebook early am but ran out of time this morning to get it here. Better late than never!
Friday was a nice day and the fishing ended up decent by the end of the day. Fish were caught mostly on Gold crocs again but there were also some caught on Gold and yellow jigs and some on chrome crocs again. James Mitchell from Brandywine, MD won the pool with a 27lb. Striper. Some anglers had limits today. It's nice to see the fish popping up locally again.
We continue to sail every day at 7:30am for Stripers. Small Blues have shown up in force in the inlet and river so not long till we start catching them as well. Night bluefishing will start on weekends towards the end of the month and every night starting June 1st. Day trips will continue for Stripers every day and continue sailing once the stripers eventually leave and the bluefish take over.
Check out some of the pictures from the trip.
