Miss Belmar - Thursday striper report

Captain Lenny started off North of our inlet today. The first half of the day we were picking at stripers amongst the bunkers. We read them very well at times along with seeing them slash through the bunkers. Fish were caught on crocodile 47's, shads and hammered golds. Everything worked today. Some of our customers were able to catch their limit. Dennis Newcombe from Wall Township, NJ was our pool winner with a 25 lb striper. There are still plenty of fish around with a lot of bunker showing up and fishing should continue to get better and better.

Sailing daily for stripers from 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. If you have any questions, please feel free to give us a call at (732) 681-0030.

We will begin sailing for afternoon stripers from 4:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. every Friday, Saturday & Sunday starting tomorrow, Friday, May 3rd, 2013.
