New PB Pike, ready for Saturday!

So in getting ready for the Pike meet and greet this sat, Bassload and I decided to take the yak out yesterday and get some pike practice. We were out for about 6 hours total. Total day was pretty slow, a few pike took some swings at our lures and we saw them briefly but no hookups until this one grabed my line. Put up a solid fight and was pulling the kayack all over the place! Got him on a rubber minnow. Between the two of us we got a handful last year but this one's by far the biggest. I didn't weigh him because I didn't want to put that much pressure on it's jaw after a long fight but my guess is around 10-12lbs. He was nice and thick. This was the only fish we caught for the day but well worth it. Look forward to meeting you guys this Sat and for the healthy competition. Bring your A game! :-)

Very nice. Gonna need to come harder than that to top mine on Saturday lol. FastEddie asked if I had a 40 incher chained up in a top secret Dundee Lake location :p .

With as much as you fish I wouldn't doubt it! You prob know all the fish on a personal level in that stretch. If I was a betting man, which I am, my money would be on you
