Approaching Full Moon - taking bets here...

I'm betting of black - bite shuts off of the moon cycle and on the tail end of the phase - a new body of bigger fish come in off the moon...

Who's betting red - that it stays red hot....

When I was much younger i.e.35 yrs. ago I lived on LBI and all I did besides a little work was striper fish from jetties mostly in the northern half of the island!! I found that 3 to 7 days after a full moon was the best time to get um!! I fished mostly at night during the summer months!!FWIW Good luck!!

Agree eith jmurr. As ling as the linging picks up it is ghost ood with me. I hope the bassing continues so there are less folks looking for the bottom dwellers

jmurr, late fall A few years back a few years back we were jigging Stripers up North . We saw a boat livelining short Stripers up by the Ambrose Channel . We saw the huge pill bobbers and watched with binoculars . I heard that they were fishing for Giants over the radio .

First Full Moon report - and the bassing stayed hot....!!!.... That;s why I love this fishery... Cunning / Baffling thees linesiders...

That's promising.. considering the full moons of past would shut down the bite....

Lets see if there is a trend for this season...
