Fished cliffwood beach

Heard some hot reports so i decided to try cliffwood beach off the rock wall. No dice on the outgoing. Nice day though

got my limit in 20 minutes last week to 34"... was there today too... managed 3 rats. gannets were diving in the distance pretty good.

I was around 5 other guys and never saw any rats or gannets. Saw about 20 boats anchored up at 1 probly killin it. You fish the outgoing pm?

Got there around noon stayed til 430ish. I was with 2 other guys, I'd say we were about mid-wall. A decent distance from the crowd. It was very slow and we only brought one fish up on the walkway for a quick picture. The rest were handled/unhooked and released at the water. As for the birds, we saw them diving when we arrived and then again right before we left.

Good to hear. I was east of the crowd. Im gonna give it another shot tomm.

I fished the Cliffwood BEACH w/ 20 others from 11am to 4pm w/ 2 shorts for all Wednesday. Gonna try Port Monmouth next week.

Saw some birds working hard over there the other day.. Guys on the beach were catching em up good!

1 out of 3 keepers on wed. night. Gunna try again friday night and Saturday morning!!!
