Sunday April 14th 2013 Striped bass report -Johnny Bucktails

I know you guys have been wondering what happened to the reports but we havent been out. Today was our first day back, my aunt passed away wednesday from cancer and we have been with the family everyday of course. Its been a tough week but we got through it together. Today my aunt gave us a day to remember. Left the dock around 9:30 and back to the dock by around 5 i believe. Water temp- 50 deg, little chop but nothing to complain about. Set up in one spot and didn't move the entire day... First hour there was nothing but once the tide switched it was game on. It was incredible and great to see SOOO much live. Fish, after fish, after fish. Within' 2 hours we boxed our 3 man limit of 6 fish. ( Me, Lip, and Matty C. ). The bite was so good we couldn't leave them biting. In all we caught 10 keepers and 20 shorts easy. A bushel and half later. They just kept coming one after another. It was great. Every fish had that beautiful purple color to it. Could not ask for a better day. Got my bass rash back. Since i figured it would be a little hard to believe me, i took a video. It is currently uploading but i will post it in here when its done.
