It is 10am and we have only 3 people fishing but in the last hour we have boated good number of fish and just doubled up having two fish on at one time we also have our first limit Carl Zimmerman , with two nice bass. I also see capt Derek of the "Fisher Price " also picking . I will post a final report later but I felt this is a great improvement and wanted to post it,after all the bad reports from the past week. As I am about to sign off we put another double in 1 keeper and 1 short.

Awesome... Looks like spring has finally sprung.

I've noticed over the years that the Stripers usually go on the feed once the Forsythia bushes bloom and sure enough, today is the first day I saw they were blooming.

Well for our final report the boys limited out and had 20+ short fish. Lots of short bites and missed fish - probably a 3:1 short to keeper ratio. It's very nice to see these fish around.

Looks like a typical report on a season that just may be heating up (slowly). Nice clean spring bass, little chunky but good eating (as long as they are legal
