We got out on our first striper trip on Saturday but as most of you know the waters are still cold and the fishing was too. Tried flounder fishing in the afternoon since we only had a handful of regulars that wanted to fish for them and did manage a nice keeper within ten minutes but that was it. Did not get out on Sunday but the boats that did get out didn't have a bite. Some warmer weather expected for the next couple of days so hopefully things will change for the better. We are now trying to sail daily on the half day schedule, 8 AM and again at 1;30 PM.

You were anchored about 20 ft out and 50 ft south of our hurricane twisted pier. Being disabled...my joy of fishing now...is watching the fishing from my balcony and picture window. Quite a few boats of all sizes have tried this area the past week....and I've seen NOTHING reeled in! Need another week or so and water to warm up.
Pool winner!!!

If you can Type, I bet there is a way you can fish still.. one sponsor out of PP is particularly easy for someone to navigate.. Maybe you just need to call around..
