Bobby Bogan is hosting a fundraiser in memory of Frank Florio. All procedes will be going to Frank's wife.

It will be a late afternoon on Saturday April 27th. A blackfish trip leaving Inlet Drive at 3:30PM and returning at 8:30.

Frank started fishing in the late 60's on his Father's boat the Miss Michele, then the Family bought the Barvic. In the late 70's his family sold the Barvic and bought the Barbara Sue a dragger that he and his brothers ran until the late 90's. Frank worked for a lot of the charter and party boats during his career. He finished up the past 10 years or so with John Cole on the Golden Touch.

If you have any questions please send them to
Dan Florio at: theflorios@yahoo.com

This will be a great evening in memory of a great guy. His wife has no idea this is being done for her. I hope to see you there.

How can we make a donation if we are not able to come? Please let us know as Frank was an amazing mate and friend. We had plenty of good times with him and he definitely was a great fisherman who taught me a lot about fishing.

Howie,
Unfortunately I will be away and won't be able to make the trip. However I spoke to Capt Bob and told him I will donate a rod and reel for a raffle to be held on the trip. He will pick it up from me. Frankie was one of the good guys!

As of today, 4/19we still have plenty of room.

This is a great way to honor Frank and to helkp out his family. It will be a great family evening. It may be a first chance to get your kids involved in fishing.

A nice short trip to have some fun!

The weather is absolutely perfect for this afternoon. Yesterday's blackfish bite was very good and today should be the same.

If you don't have anything planned, this trip should be great and you'll be doing this for a great family. Today's trip is on the Gambler, departing Inlet drive dock at 3:30 and returning around 8:30.

Thank you for your support.

We did a double Saturday, after AM striper fishing, fished the Gambler on the afternoon Frank Florio fund raiser for his family. Frank, mate on golden Touch was a very good friend. Family was on board too and very nice to get to meet and chat with them. Also VERY NICE of Capt Bob Bogan to donate his boat and crew. Togging was slow, but some fluke were caught also - good sign this early . Fun trip with a lot of NJFishing regs.

I had the pleasure of fishing with every one on the trip, nice to meet you RandK. Fishing was slow but the cause was worth it. Frankies wife meeting the boat at the dock added to that special moment. Big Thanks to Capt. Bob and the Gambler crew.
To all the Florios we will always have Frank with us.
