Headed out this morning with Matt, Gary, Jay and Paul on board. Was greeted with a nice 20kts of nw wind in the morning against the tide. Pushed the throttles up and got up into the back bay in no time. Looked around for a little bit and found a few marks in some shallow water. Cracked a ton of clams on the outgoing and could only get 5 or 6 bites with 1 short coming into the boat. Fish would hit the bait one and never come back. Made two more drops the rest of the day with not another touch. Water was 43.5 in the morning and the warmest we say was 45.7. Hopefully a few days of warm weather and once we get off the next moon and they will start to chew.
