We are headed home from NC after a banner year on huge fish. We will be compiling the numbers tonight but we ran approximately 55 charters and caught over 120 bluefin over 350 pounds plus several more in the 60-75" range. Not bad to average over 2 true giants a trip over a 55 trips span.
Most of those 120 bluefin were in the 400-450 range but we had a couple over 600 pounds and Capt. Mark had a 109" fish that was fat and probably around 725-750 - our biggest of the year. Just amazing fishing and we can't wait until next year!
But for now we are headed back home and look forward to starting our striper season and thus this post - we have very few dates left open.

While known primarly for offshore fishing, one of our main Captains has always had his heart and head firmly planted inshore. Capt. Phil Dulanie has always and will always call striped bass fishing is true love.
And why not? He's caught a dozen stripers over 50 pounds and three (3) over 60 pounds in his career!
Well over the past three years we went back to Phil's roots and did close to 250 stripers trips. In 2013 it looks like we'll do alot more as the 60 Ritchie is almost filled up and the 48 Viking is getting close.
In an effort to fill up every day and more important so my regular customer don't get upset when they call and we are filled up I wanted to get this post up now.
This year we are offering trips as low as $125 per person on open boat trips or just $699 for the entire boat if you book an afternoon trip with us.
These are trips on our 60' Ritchie Howell Custom Carolina and our 48' Viking that come with cockpit grills, SeaKeeper Gyro, SAT TV, a half dozen flat screen TVs, SAT Radio, five staterooms, four heads, full galleys and dinette and a huge salon. Plus immense cockpits with mezzanie seating.
So if you want to fish in luxury or need to entertain customers/clients and realize these boats are what you deserve to spend your hard earned money on don't delay. We only have 8 days left on the 60 Canyon Runner and a few more than that on the 48 Canyon Runner for the Spring Season so if you were thinking about a trip please contact us now.
