My son and I decided to splash the boat. Not a bite yet, but so far a very nice day and no boat problems. Glad I am out right now with my son instead of sitting home. Gonna pack it in soon and head in.

Hi Steve
Glad to see you made it out....beautiful day and sounds like some good time spent with your son.

Where did you end up launching the boat?
See any debris?

First stopped at Atlantic b&t where Pete hooked me up, as always. Then turned around and headed to keyport marine basin. The ramp looked rough but doable. Headed North west and fished off of the new condo complex off of Sayreville. Anchored up not far from the gaffer so I figured I was in the right spot. Unfortunately no bites but quality time on the water. When we got back to the ramp It was dead Low. Ramp was a lot rougher coming out! All in all a successful shakedown cruise.

Saw some debris around not to bad but I am sure there are plenty of dangers lurking.
