Where did you try in belmar and what were you using? Was thinking about going after work but don't want to spend 10 damn dollars on some worms and get skunked

Where are you guys getting the water temp readings? I've been trying to get water temp readings for the navesink but am only able to find for a buoy marker in sandy hook.

Fished Shark River from a boat this morning, 7:30 to 10:00. Not even a bite. Talked to the other two boats and three kayaks out there and they didnt have a bite either. Water was 36 degrees in most parts of the river. Probably would have been a little better, but the west wind had white caps by the tennis courts by 9:30am.

Nice... you guys did better than me and my buddy Mikey Topaz. We hit the Nevasink around 8-8:30 till almost noon. only got a few nibbles. they never swallowed the hook. At least we know they're there. another week or two and it's game on :-) it was a nice morning on the water anyway..
