Mussels, clam, cat food, all ground up, and cooked rice. Never understood the rice part but always did it, I've never seen a flounder at a Chinese restaurant but they seem to like it !:)

No corn? Always liked to throw whole canned corn in there too. Don't get cream of corn, made that mistake once, lol.

Like Capt'n Rich said, Ground Mussels, clams and cat food. Wile cooking the rice add some yellow food dye. And don't forget a sash weight on a line to bounce on the bottom to stir up the local resources and their attention.

I ususually chum with whole mussels - fill up a bucket and crush them. Also throw a handful of corn way upstream so it hits bottom under the boat.

You dont want to feed them - you just want to get them in.

They definitely eat the corn. My father would mix up canned corn and cooked rice whenever we went flounder fishing. I was in charge of shaking the chum pot and throwing a handful of the corn/rice upstream.

The cooked can corn is safe, it is the dry corn that expands in their gut that kills them.
