The bass are not quite here yet, didnt have any luck with herring this year at the inlet, haven't heard anything about any flounder, just about all the party boats are out for the month.

What is there to fish for for the next month or so?

The only thing i can think of is ling fishing on the OE or something.

With this storm I wouldn't worry about it for at least a week. Then see what happens.

Take a ride up to NH/Mass for some world class ground fishing. They got it going on up there and much cheaper then tuna fishing down south.

To me, this is really like the fishing limbo month, the quiet before the bass storm rolls through.

I plan on getting my reels serviced, and going to some of the fishing expos and flea markets this month.

I agree with you Bill, best time now is to go through your gear, get ready for the upcoming Striper and Fluke season. Ling fishing has been off for several weeks and like jerseyhunter, mentioned with the upcoming storm, I would definitely wait until the end of the month. If you do venture out. Good luck. :D
