As luck would have it I only got to do one Offshore Sea Bass trip.:(
Now that it is closed Ling is my next choice. Anyone have any recent Ling reports?

Looks like teens has been the number on a good trip. You and the daughter should be good for at least 30 between the two of you!

I head it has slowed up , good days = 1 doz per man.
I am hoping they turn on soon so I can make a few trips before NH.
Jump on Tagged Fish. He'll definitely put you on some ling. I think, I saw open boat on his website for this weekend. It's looking ideal. If I didn't have family commitments, I would of jumped on.

I went Sunday past - crappy conditions and still nailed 15! They were there but anchoring was poor, let alone wind against tide for 1/3rd of the trip.
Its a function of Lingskill as much as it is the Cappy putting you on the fish.
BOUNCE BABY BOUNCE! :)

I e-mailed Capt. Jeff and asked about cod and he replied back maybe April!! Not what I was hoping to hear!! Last year in mid March I went on the Voyager and got a 22lbs' pollack,8lbs. cod and over a dozen monster ling!! Good day!

I really hope so, I miss those Offshore Cod trips in April. My best Cod trip was in April of 2011. Between Steve and I we caught 28 beast!

The oceqn explorer was on them good a few weeks ago. Gulp is the ticket. Guys were using pink or Orange small lobster like looking things.
For me the standard green curl tail tipped with a small bot o clam did me 15 ling.

I might do it if the OE can't get out because of work on the rr bridge.

He posted on Facebook. He is taking off the next few weeks to work on the boat because fishing has sucked last two times out.
