2-7-13 Well I was hoping the big boys were ready to chew today given the monster storm that they are predicting to hit us tomorrow but just the opposite happened.The little ones had the feedbag on...If we could have kept 14-15 inch fish I would have said we did well today...High hook had two dozen blackfish,,,but only six of them were keepers....Biggest fish about 4lbs...That was Mike and he ended up taking the 10 dollar pool.Jack had three keepers and a few ling and ended up taking the 5 dollar pool...Some other keepers scattered around the boat but for the gang as a whole I thought it kinda sucked.Also different today the fish seemed to want the soft bait better than the crabs...You drew more bites with the clam....Again some guys went home with some fish but overall not what I was looking for.No fishing tomorrow,,or probably Saturday...Keep tuned here for updates...Check out some pics.

Fished another boat yesterday and it also sucked. As far as I know maybe one or two limits with a 5lb pool winner. Most had maybe one keeper. Wish I knew about the better clam bite as I stayed with crabs, whites and greens. Always thinking the next spot might be it - it never happend. Very fustrating day. Very good ling bite with a few fifeteeen fish buckets for guys using gulp or clam. Live and learn, never stop, and that is why I keep going back! That and that 20lb slob just waiting for me. Togging is so sick!
