2-5-13 The weather,,the ocean conditions,and the fishing were all dialed in today.Blackfish had the feedbag on and we had fish almost immediately jumping on the crabs...Everydrop we fished had good life with Togs,,pool scale at the end of the day had two fish up around 11lbs.hanging on each end..From the front to the back and each side they caught blackfish..Both greens and whites worked well,,and we also busted off some pigs that we will be going back after tomorrow!!Some of the guys had limits early in the day,,,,some had four and down from there but just about everyone onboard had some nice ones..Mixed in with that we had pretty good ling fishing as well..I almost always saw ling coming up somewhere on the boat and some guys targeting em had had high hooks around 15-20.Check out some pics...See ya tomorrow.

First of all a big thanks to Bobby and mates mikey and jeff for an awessome trip today. met a few NJfishers torchee and islanderII along with a really good bunch of guys on board.

the morning started out funny when a car pulled up and asked me where the party boats were as I was walking back from grabbin a few whiteleggers:confused: I pointed to the big line of boats....needless to say the rental rodders had a good day on the boat haha.

I had a tough day watching others pull up keeper toggies and I couldnt get a sniff. only had a handful of shorts and a few small ling. then around 2 it happened. chomp chomp TUG! I hit her hard and it was on, instantly knowing I had a real good fish on. she dug hard but I was able to muscle her up, breaking off my sinker, and a few good runs and on the deck. Knew I was in the running for the pool. then right at the and Kevin got crushed by a PIG that would have probably beat mine but that beast shaved him off. then it looked like tebow time:eek:

Got my PB in the 11-12# range and took home the pool. Man I love toggin

Great day with a nice bunch of people!

I had a steaker and almost a dozen ling - about 10 just short blackfish.
Most people did better with the keepers.

Great crew and captain - get out while the bite is on.

Great day to say the least! A bunch of quality fish around the boat. Nice meeting Torchee and Ismellfishy! I wound up with 3 keepers, a couple shorts, and 2 ling. my buddy Marc had 1 nice roaster around 6-7. Then it happened right before the whistle. I got crushed! Got a couple cranks on her, rod doubled over, taking drag, but she decided to go back home. Shaved me off. I actually had to take a knee for a moment knowing I lost a large tog. Tebow style. Oh well, that's fishing! Thanks again to Capt. Bob, Mikey and Jeff for doing a great job!

What you fellow toggers went through yesterday reminds of when I was a kid and watched the Wild World of Sports with Curt Gowdy Jr. The show would start with ''the thrill of victory( The Bite ) and the agony of defeat ( The Cutoff )''. Ugh. Just the other day, I did the Tebow expression( I Like that expression haha ) but a little bit different, I hung my whole body over the rail and Moaned. LOl Dennis
