Ruth and I just back from our 25th wedding anniversary trip to Costa Rica. What an incredible experience we had. Been many places but Costa Rica sets the bar for hospitality.

The resorts are the nicest we've ever stayed in and the people there are the warmest and friendliest we've ever encountered. They literally can't do enough to make your experience more relaxing and enjoyable...

This video is from our 3/4 day charter on the boat Front Row out of Quepos. Our Captain, Walter and mate Marco were amazing and made the experience unforgettable. We went 4 for 6 on Pacific Sailfish.

I was beaming with pride watching Ruth (now known as my "Fishinista") fight and release this Sailfish. Enjoy!!

Thanks Mike... And Tony, you and your wife really need to go there.. An amazing place with lots to do. If you want any info feel free to PM...

On a side note, Ruth and I were hanging out enjoying life, drinking cold Imperial's and day dreaming about living down there a few months a year when we retire.... Then it hit me like a ton of bricks!! Why not create a fishing site for Costa Rica?? Rather then let some idle beer talk go to waste, I got on the iPad, went right to Go Daddy and purchased www.costaricanfishing.com (http://www.costaricanfishing.com)

Really excited about the possibilities and at a minimum, I'm sure we will be forced to take several trips there to fish and gather the needed content ;)

Would be great to get a bunch of us down there fishing.... Airfares aren't too bad and pile a bunch of us in a few condos and we could do it on the cheap.

Much different than fishing in Mexico, at least the places I've fished.... All the boats are well kept and tackle is all top notch stuff.

Congrats on joining the quarter century club :) It's awesome that Ruth shares the passion. My boat-allergic wife wants to know if she can catch a Sailfish from the dock

>Sigh< Wish I could get my wife on a boat. Well, not all the time. Did you get a crack at the rooster fishing there?
