Hey guys and gals,

I am very pleased to announce my new line of "Hammer" semi-custom rods! If you are looking for a high quality custom rod on a budget these are just what the Dr. ordered.

These will be built on MADE IN THE U.S.A. Seeker E-glass blanks that incorporate durability and relative lite weight. Wrapped using American Tackle Virtus guides, fuji reel seats, butt caps and your choice of eva or hypalon foam grips they are sure to last for years and catch tons for fish!

I am calling these semi-custom because they will be wrapped in all black and the only options are regular conventional guides or spiral, grip material and grip lengths.

Three models will be available

7' "Hammer Lite" is perfect for inshore fluke, seabass, porgys, and flounder. $225

7' "Hammer Medium" is ready to do battle fish blackfish, stripers, blues, ling, deep water seabass and even shallow codfish. $235

7' "Hammer Heavy" can handle almost anything you throw at it. Jigging for monster cod, pollock, and tuna, deep dropping for big tilefish and grouper they just don't stand a chance! Don't believe me, just ask this 40# tile my buddy Chris Molinaro caught how he feels about it!$250

Even fish that are tough as nails don't stand a chance against "The Hammer"!

Dont wait order yours today and have it ready for the spring season!

Lol I like that one Leif!

It really depends Eva is firmer and lighter, hypalon is spongier and heavier but will not dent like Eva

I do recall posting a comment, but seems like it was deleted. Might have to convince the wife to order one for my birthday. Good luck on these rods! :D

Yes, I like the heavier hypalon as a rear grip in some cases to balance out the rod.

Good stuff Mike. Now those on a tighter budget can still get their hands on a quality Garone custom! I'll have to check these out soon.

Nice line of rods here. As for being all black...... those fancy colors are not catching the fish anyway!!! Grab a nice hand made rod at a good price.... hell with the colors.

Good Luck with them!!

I use AT's Virtus Guides and they are the best out there IMHO, so anyone who is weary of trying them, dont be!! I will even go as far as saying that I like these guides better than Fuji's. Have not had one fail yet. ;)
