1-18 Offshore Report
We had another good offshore trip Friday. The weather was quite choppy but we still wound up with a good catch of sea bass and jumbo porgies. We started fishing in the dark but the blues were a problem as we caught many. Once the sun rose we began to catch sea bass and porgies.
The pool winners were:
Al Jenkins from Teaneck NJ with an 8LB Pollock, his limit of sea bass and 12 porgies,
Robert Wisner with a 6LB sea Bass, and 15 porgies.

The big Jamaica is scheduled to sail offshore every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday leaving 11PM the night before. We have also added a trip for Monday 1/21 leaving 11PM the night before.

We now have “Ventafish” venting tools available for purchase for those who catch their limit early and want to release the rest safely.
They can also be purchased at www.boganmarine.com
