1-6 Offshore Sea Bass Report

Hot Giant Sea Bass Fishing Continues!

Space Available This Week. Sailing Tuesday Night 11PM

Fishing was very good again on the Sunday Special Offshore Wreck Trip. The big Sea Bass began biting as soon as we arrived. We started fishing early and had good sea bass fishing in the dark. There were also a few blues and porgies in the mix. We tried a couple of more wrecks after everyone caught their limit of sea bass and found a few more porgies, several Pollock and a cod.
The pool winners were:
John Kizmann from Brick NJ with a 33LB Pollock and his limit of sea bass,
Guy Hoffmann from Putnam Valley, NY with a 20LB Pollock and his limit of sea bass.

It looks good for upcoming trips. There is a good migration of giant sea bass and still plenty more porgies on their way to the offshore wrecks.
The big Jamaica is scheduled to sail offshore every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday leaving 11PM the night before.

Nice job Capt. How does the weather look for this Wed? NOAA offshore has:

TUE AND TUE NIGHT
SW WINDS 10 TO 15 KT. SEAS 2 TO 3 FT.

WED
SW WINDS INCREASING TO 15 TO 25 KT...THEN SHIFTING TO NW
20 TO 30 KT LATE. SEAS BUILDING TO 4 TO 8 FT LATE...HIGHEST E

That should be fishable, right?
