Update - Party is now full. As far as the prizes below, we are going to be breaking them up in two different groups. The red group will consist of prizes of up to a $500 value and the red tickets will be sold for $5 each. The green group will consist of prizes over $500 and green tickets will be sold for $10 each.


As you may have seen in a prior post, this years Holiday Party will be at JJ Bittings in Woodbridge NJ www.njbrewpubs.com (http://www.njbrewpubs.com) from 7 - 10 pm on Thursday December 20th. $30 per person includes a buffet and free flowing beer, wine and soda. Cash bar is also available. For those of you who would prefer not to drive, JJ's is right along side the Woodbridge Train Station which is on the Jersey Shore line.

This years format for door prizes is going to be a bit different then last year. We are going to do it Chinese auction style to raise money for Storm victims and 100% of the proceeds will be given to them. Everyone will receive one free ticket at the door and additional tickets can be purchased. Tickets can be placed on any of the door prizes and we will pull the wining tickets for each prize at the end of the night.

The Tuna.com crew, Dave, Paul and Sandro, from Nat Geo's Wicked Tuna TV show http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/channel/wicked-tuna/ (http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/channel/wicked-tuna/) will be joining us at the party. They are going to give us a behind the scenes look at show and have also donated a Tuna.com http://www.fishgloucester.com/ charter to cause. This trip will be auctioned off separately live auction syle, to the highest bidder at the party.

We are going to be limited to 115 people because of space restraints so please RSVP here to reserve your spot. Payment will be collected at the door so if you reserve a spot let us know if for some reason your plans change this way we can fill it with others.

I'd like to ask for 4 volunteers this year. If any of you are interested, please email me njfishing@aol.com You will be part of a commitee that will decide where the donations go and help coordinate door prizes and raffels. I will need one person that lives in each of the following geographies:
- Bayshore Area (Keyport to Highlands) Jamie Eyes on First Ave has volunteered for this area
- North Jersey Shore Area (Sea Bright to Belmar) Lefty Reeler has volunteered for this area
- Central Jesey Shore Area (Point Pleasant to Barengat) Brother Joey Dah Fish


I'm also looking for our members to nominate families or businesses in need. Please email me njfishing@aol.com (njfishing@aol.com) with the following information:
- Your name, phone number and how you are related to them
- Families name and address and how many people in the immediate family
- How they were affected by the storm and what hardships they are facing.

All this information will be kept in the strictest of confidence and will only be shared with the commitee.

Great Party as usual It's great to see some new & old faces again. I got lucky & won 2 trips on the Paramount & a $25 gift certificate to the reel seat. I missed a few regulars that usually attend this party every year but were not there. I hope everybody who did not attend is doing well.
