Headed out around 2:30, first time going for trout in this river. Lotta leaves but still fishable. Worked my way down a quarter mile stretch, managed 1 chunky 15" brookie along with some sunnies and baby bass all on trout magnets. Drove upstream to another spot in the last hour of sunlight but just got more sunnies. Snagged a brand new rooster tail on a tree within 10 minutes :( still not a bad day.

If it was one of the trees behind the Milltown School I put the white one up there. LOL.
Nice fish.

hahaha i actually noticed a white spinner on the same tree branch a few feet next to where mine got snagged. it was behind the school but on the other, deeper side of the river opposite from the school. the branch hung kinda low down and i tried casting under it but the lure went a bit too high.
That one might have been mine from the spring.
The one I lost yesterday was in one of the trees backing the school. I parked in the little park on 28 and was on my way back to my car when I decided to make a couple of casts into the bank there. The first cast went high and deep into the tree and that ended my day. :(
