Yep you heard it Snakeheads are driving me insane! All i read is that these are vicious predators that will sneak into cribs and eat human children yet they refuse to bite! Hit the pit with my cousins yesterday after work threw topwaters, senkos, livebait, spinnerbaits everythig we had nada. Saw a few monster snakeheads swim right infront of me but refused to eat. ended up catfishing after sundown and put a few white cats on land to save the day. When I put my mind on a fish I usually get it but these mofo's are giving me more trouble then anything I have ever targeted.

Ok I need to do me some research now on where they are cause I didn't know we had snakeheads in NJ. Wouldn't mind putting one of them on my fishing resume.

Yes, they can run well up into freshwater.
Earlier this summer, a Delaware River guide caught an Atlantic needle fish
@ Washington's Crossing.

Just to be the pedant that I am, I'm sure everybody already knows this but...
Potentially Dangerous Fish
The possession or release of live, potentially dangerous fish is prohibited. These species include
Asian swamp eel, bighead, grass (diploid) and
silver carp, brook stickleback, green sunfish,
flathead catfish, oriental weatherfish, snakehead
and warmouth. Anglers MUST destroy these
species if encountered while fishing and are
directed to submit specimen(s) or photos to a
Fish and Wildlife Bureau of Freshwater Fisheries
biologist for verification. To reach a biologist, call
(908) 236-2118 for northJersey or (856) 629-4950
for south Jersey. These non-native species are
likely to cause environmental harm to the state’s
fisheries resources by outcompeting preferred
game fish species.

Hmmm, when I was a kid and kept them in my fish tanks I used to feed them goldfish. Try swinging by the pet shop and grabbing some live feeders lol:D
