Just out of curiosity, I don't remember seeing that lake on the list of stocked waters. Did those fish come from a community stocking project, or maybe someone just released some?

Was wondering the same. Always hear the rumor that the state record Pike was caught at Pines and not Pompton Lake...

Those are some healthy looking fish...Been meaning to fish pompton and over that way lately just haven't got around to it. 'Tis the season.

There not stocked spoke to a guy who lives here his whole life he seems to think the floods bring them into the lake
