I own a computer repair business in Central NJ and have over 30 years of experience if anyone needs help. I can usually turn around a laptop in 24 hours unless I need to order a part. Desktops I stock parts for and I fix Macs as well. My rates are very reasonable, my services are warrantied, and your satisfaction is guaranteed.

Tweak windows settings for maximum performance, defrag hard drive, test battery, and run full diagnostics. Hey Ty, pop quiz. I have an OCZ Agility 3 SSD 80gb on a Sata 6.0gb port in SATA1 and today Win7 hard locked and then rebooted 3 times with a "no OS found insert disk" error... shut it down and waited 2 minutes and the system booted fine. Should I trash the OCZ drive and install an Intel or was it an anomaly? I'm looking for a second opinion.

/edit - As an aside I don't worry about data loss. I have a 500gb data drive. The SSD is just a boot drive and photoshop scratch file. The data drive automatically backs up to my Black Armor NAS. I just don't want to be without my main computer. I hate using one of my workers systems. They aren't as fancy.

ocz's and kingston's have a history of that, that's why they're selling so cheap on buy.com now. first check ocz support to see if they have a firmware release higher than what you're using. if not, yes on intel, it's what I use. hope this helps.

same goes for your bios and chipset, make sure they're up to date.
