does any one have any info a special trout stocking for THANKSGIVING

it is getting 190 14-18" rainbow trout on tuesday

Good info...never targeted trout out of there but I've seen some nice ones pulled out.
Definetly a respectable place to fish. My buddy pulled his personal best largemouth out of there over the summer...19" I believe.

THANKS GUYS I know about the state stocking thats after thanksgiving I have friends that live across the street they dont fish but they mentioned the ESSEX county also does a private stocking of some trophy fish before T day I still know if that true Im going that morning and going to try it out THANKS AGAIN for your help TO

did you read the link? winter stocking is extra large fish being stocked by the state this tuesday, before thanksgiving

Try fishing the North end right before the island in the middle--saw some nice ones pulled out of there by a guy using a small yellow spinner last year.

I saw the same thing and those fish looked extra large/jumbo fish bigger than the breeders the state put in normally

at the park sun up throwing spinners and rapalas fished various speeds no hits at all only handfull of guys called quits 9am walked around park before going home talked to other guys same results even on bait bottom and top gulp and crawlers the water quality a little murky and outside temp in the low 30s with some frost this morning going to try again sometime this weekend TO

on the scene today 10am went home 12:30pm left the fish biting had an engagement landed 1@14,3@18,1@20 released the 20 gave away the rest and last two 15 mins before I left rolled one and lost at the net spit the hook looked like the 18 inch size T shirt temps water still murky lite wind but wind picked up when I was leaving and all caught on jointed rapalas TO

Skunk City crowds were lite plenty room if your going to do bait bring an extra rod for spinners/lures works very well there I heard the crowd was not to bad at sun up from other guys leaving I think the fish will chew first thing in the morning its a nice calm and warm nite GOOD LUKE TO

at the water edge before sun up just me and another I threw lures no action the other guy was bait/GULP on the bottom I saw 2 sometimes 3 rods going off at the same time it was funny just watching him handle all the rods but he did good seen him take his limit with ease in 20 mins my time did not come until 9am the bite turned on for me they started hitting lures limit out by 10:30 both of our fish 18 inch sized nothing larger TO
