no luck with the fall stocking on sunday. today i went to a place where i have better odds of getting something good. fished off a huge bolder in the millstone for 2 hours. the dropping temps and rainy weather had the cats active and everything else away. caught 4 channels (including my first ever rare albino :) ) and a white cat. best luck i had all year in that river :D . pics below:

Nice going on the catfish. I've never seen/heard of anyone catching an albino. Good stuff.

Nice catch. I'm guessing the one with the 'pushed in' snout is the white cat?

Last night I caught 19" and 21" channel catfish and a 28" 11 lb carp in the 56 degree Delaware River on my homemade corn meal bait. I didn't get a hit on a lure and the fish didn't start biting until the turn of the tide at night. I saw an adult bald eagle catch a medium sized fish before dark.

about the carp/catfish in the delaware river. how are you supposed to chum for carp when the river has a constant strong current; the chum would be washed downstream away from where u casted ur bait? and last time i went with a 10 ounce weight and it still wouldnt hold bottom. where do u fish at?

I found one spot in the Delaware River where I can fish out of the current with no weight. My best fishing is where there are no people. As soon as people arrive, I usually stop catching fish, so I do not like to tell people exactly where I catch fish because people ruin many of my fishing trips. Clueless people actually broke my line by not getting out of my way when I hooked the fish of a lifetime. Crowded fishing is no good.
