Satisfied the urge to try earlier than usual for trout this fall. Surmised the water would be cooler than a normal fall & in good shape due to plentiful rainfall.
Good move on my part enjoyable day saw two other anglers plenty of room. landed seven 14.5 to 21" all nice bows! The eigth was a Palm Beach release about a foot from my hand! He looked to be about a good 18 to 20" bow as well!

Thay hit hard ! So they were on the prowl for food!

Missed four others ,all in all a solid day on the river! Once I got reaclamated to my new sweet spots brought on by high water ,it was game on! Water temp = 52 degrees Water very high but fishable Leaves strtin' to get to be a PIA , next week or two they be comin" on heavy! All hardware

Best start in twenty yrs!! Due for a break after that spring opener!!! :)

Good job, Capt. Will join you the end of the week when this forecasted rain moves out.
Want to order some butterworms from Elliottsbutterworms.com? They're bigger and fatter than normal. You can't beat the mans prices. Trout love them! I use them for ice fishing, too. A very productive fish bait.
