got the titles to the boat and trailer a few days ago so im hitting the DMV saturday morning, waiting for my trailer hitch parts to come in, and looking for a place to go...specs are 12' jon boat 6hp outboard (thought it was 9.9 but was mistaken) and a 1 hp (maybe?) trolling
what say ye fer her maiden voyage...arrrrr

Any lake that you know well and that has a boat launch. That way you should probaly be able to catch fish on your first outing.

Round Valley. Easy ramp, plenty of room, easy shoreline. Stay close to ramp area for shakedown until you feel like the time is right, then blast off !!

LMAO joe, as far as a 'lake i know' ive only been going to scarlet oak since its been so good to me, BUT nothing allowed on the water, boats tubes nothing which is why im asking...i wanna do hopatcong but someone whose advice i take said thats too big a lake for what i have (even tho i think id be able to handle it)...still thinking

Round Valley or Spruce Run would either be good choices.
