so, im in the proccess of gitting rid of my boat (classifieds) to make room for a 2002 angler 20' c/c, it has a bimini not a t top, fwd live well, 2 helm chairs, 60 gallon tank, and a 125 merc salt water. it has no trailer, so im lookin for one. im new to c/c's and was wondering if any one here has any tips on a boat this size, and or the merc 125's ive had a 25hp and a mariner 200. also at a cruising rpm how much range should i expect. one web sight i found the guy had the same boat with a 150 and said he can get almost 400 miles..........that seems like an awful lot. thanks guys

Good luck with the new ride!

I don't have an answer to your question, but you should be able to figure it out once you dunk her. I'll assume this is a 4 stroke engine?

For reference, my boat is 21' and loaded weighs around 4000lbs. At 3500rpms I cruise at 24mph and get 10.5 gallons an hour (roughly 2.3 miles a gallon). With an 86 gallon tank under optimal conditions (which is never) my range is 200 miles max and more like 150 miles with some to spare.

Estimating the better fuel efficiency of your 4 stroke and subtracting your reduced tank size....you are probably in the same range.
