After my crabbing trip, my kid wanted to go fishing. Went to my old stomping grounds. Nothing much doing except for tiny catfish. Got like ten of them on worms fished both on the bottom and top. Just a nice day out in general. After went downtown to Dicosmos for some ices and gerrys hot dogs. At times, I actually miss elizabeth.

I grew up fishing there. I used to live in Linden and me and the friends would walk there all the time!! Used to catch sunnies, small bass, and catfish. I heard they stock trout there in the early season. Glad to hear your post, it brought back some memories!!

I've fished there a couple times recently and most trips its only those little 5-6" catfish. But everyone in a while you get lucky with a nice channel cat or a big bullhead like the ones below.

It's a school of thousands of baby bullheads. This explains why all I catch there are the small bullheads. The place is way too over crowded with small bullheads. I found at least 4 seperate schools like this in the small section of the lake I was at.
