I thought the float was from above Duke Island Park for some reason, Tommy cleared up that question for me.
A gentle 5.7-mile float from the Rutgers Boat Dock in Boyd Park, New Brunswick. I didn't make this one.

The Float was really NICE 75-100 folks came out, Started at Boyde Park in New Brunswick, rode the tide out, slight detore up into lawrence brook, Then on to Sayreville. We were provided at the take out with a little BBQ, there were also a few speakers Talking about the river.
Here is a link to see a FREE movie about cleaning the Raritan River, its showing at the form theater in Metuchen tonight.

Wow, Tommy, can't remember how much it cost (certain parts of my memory are shot :)) but St. Francis 1970, MHS 1974
Peter Lowey (and a friend of his Dave Kotkin... er... Copperfield) were in my graduating class LOL
used to stop in Metuchen Hardware on the way home from school and I think Coke's (bottle of course) were initially $.10 then
later $.25 all through grade school.

Well, we most likely knew each other, I graduated MHS 75, you may even have partied at my house, we lived on Aylin Street, off Central ave. My family owned the Uphostery shop on Central. Did you party down the "Black road, or Sand Pits"
