Any one been there recently? Thinking of giving it a go this weekend...may make it a double pond adventure hitting here first in the morning then Farrington on the way home in the afternoon fishing the lily pads?

Lunkertaker, if your going there, I wouldn't do it on Saturday. You have probaly seen how bad that lake gets, it will be a nightmare this weekend. Better off fishing a pond you know that gets very little pressure. If you do go there, there have been bass around the pads from what Ive heard, but I would do that in the morning, and maybe go crappie hunting afterwards. Good luck.

Hey AJ
I have done well there in the past with LM bass and those fish water blues (pickerel). "how bad the lake gets"...last year the weeds were out of control here and the back was nearly unfishable...is this what you mean or the boat/people pressure?
I usually target the LM bass early in the am and then put a curly jig (white and my preference) and jig everything from pickeral/LM/crappie/white and yellow perch and even catfish...doink!
Top water action can be deadly here, but it is usually an early bite. If all else fails...well then the rooster tail never fails.
This pond is good for numbers and not so much on size; however, I have managed some great catches. Lots of Dinks.

Bad as in boat pressure. It's gonna be a nightmare cause it's Memorial Day weekend. By the way, that's exactly what I do. Bass at dawn on topwater then go with white Mr. Twisters for crappie and whatever else decides to hit. Had some insane fishing there before with some nice bass but again alot of dinks. Again, good luck, and I hope you do well wherever you decide to fish.

Agreed. Pressure can be high. Once I traveled there and there some fishing tournament...turned around and fished Farrington. I have often also done, early in summer, the triple combo...Assunpink in the morning, Davidsion;s mill pond in the early afternoon, and finished at Farrington in the late afternoon.
Each has it's unique fishery and connected on all 3 points.
....Got a plan coming together for Sat!
