Hit the river at 9:00 this AM, fished for 3 hours and scratched out 7. Went home for lunch and a nap, and hit the river for round two at around 4:30. Very slow caught 2 and missed MANY more due to short strikes. got out around 6:30 and grilled some burgers and dogs with the river rats. Someone got back in around 7 o'clock and had one right away. Well back iin the river for me! Proceeded to hammer them until it got too damn dark! Caught 10 more between 7:15 and 8:00! Left them biting, but it was too dark to hook the fat heads! total of 19 for the day. May try again early tomorrow before my sons baseball game.
talley so far is 87.
PS: I also hooked into a 2 pound small mouth bass, I thought I had a MONSTER trout as it was ripping line off the spool. Still a very nice catch for the river!
