I wish I wouldve noticed your message sooner. Echo, where you get the permit opens up first, great Musky fishery. All the other resevoirs are phenomonal. Gotta get in there and do some fishin, Ive been goin there for 10 years, musky, smallies, largemouths, walleye, trout, slab crappie, perch, you name it, its in 1 of those bodies of water!!! Great fishery, low pressure, Its like fishin a private pocono lake in Pa.....:D

I read mixed reviews about Newark watershed lakes. Seems like any givin' day there is some sort of bass tournament going on, no parking. NO this, NO that, not before sunrise, not after sunset, no boats, yes boats, no parking, get a permit, and so on. Only going by what I have read, I guess I need someone to take me by the hand and show me around...;) Eddie !!

All bodies of water electric motors only, fishing time from half hour before sunrise to half hour after sunset. Row boats are permitted but must be at least 10 ft in length. Limited amount of boats is permitted on each res per day. Its best to call ahead to make a reservation to launch a boat just in case there is a tourney. Another thing, Ive never seen so many bear in my life since Ive been fishing there.
I will never post a report from there, Its a special kinda place, very dynamic and takes time to get in a groove

Two more things stay away from the bear caverns on certain ress' and wear boots, RATTLESNAKES, are not very friendly!
