Wilson and I jumped in the North Branch near RVCC for a bit, nada.
Down to Darts Mill on the lower South Branch, I think Wilson got 5, I got nada other than a large one follow.
Bounced around the Lamington, slow.
We were trying to buck the crowds knowing full well in a couple of weeks the crowds will be gone, the water will be warmer, and the stocking will continue, and fishing will be good. Some spots we hit had a few anglers, other spots we were the only ones there.

I jumped around on the Coopalong and Spruce Run Creek to avoid the crowds. I saw very few fishermen and also very few trout.:( Finally got a rainbow out of Spruce Run Creek. Warmer water and smaller crowds will be here soon. Better days are coming.:)

As I posted earlier..... hit Spring Lake this morning again without a hit from 8-10am.... tried power bait, Gulp trout bait, worms, roostertails and phoebes with no luck.... didn't feel too bad because not one of the other 20 guys down my side of the lake got anything either.... and I know it'll be warming up the next few days and I'll be back without any crowd pretty soon!

Took my nephew out for a few hours. We ended up with 3 rainbows lost 1 and 1 sunny. I believe it was only his 3rd time every fishing. It was an absolutely great day.. When I picked him up I asked "are you ready to catch some fish" his response " I was born to fish"

I hit near that stretch myself just after 3 PM today and after almost 2 hours managed 1 colorful brookie on a spinner. That was it, saved me from the skunk.
Saw some real action this morning on the way home from Philly. We took the scenic route and stopped in New Hope for lunch at the Triumph Brewery and afterwards took the kids for a walk over the bridge to Lambertsville and saw a boat tied to the bridge and one of the guys on there fighting something on a spin-rod pretty good. After about a minute they netted/landed a nice shad. Applause from us and others on the bridge, it was the first shad I've ever seen in person and it looked like a lot of fun.
The North Branch today... Not so much! :p
