Fished the Brady bridge area for a few hours. Overall fishing was slow, probably due to the cold water. I caught 4 smallish perch and one nice crappie all on a 1/16 jig head with one of the new Gary Yamamoto crappie plastics (tiny ika)...This is the first time i fished with these things and they are awesome...They look like a creature type bait like you would use for bass but down sized...i tried small rapalas, mister twisters and even the old hopatcong reliable mighty mites...nothing produced even a bite besides the Yamas...Once the water warms up it should be game on!

Whoops! Wrong date, I guess I really am dreaming of warmer weather....

What's April 29th???? I know the 30th I'll be striper fishin' on the Delaware with The Big "D" River Guide. Dieter is the man. It's probably one of the best trips that I've ever taken. We sabiki herring down by Trenton then live-line them on bridle-rigs up near Scudder's Mill. My lady and I did really well last year and I'm taking pops out this year. So stoked, catching fat stripers in sometimes as little as 2-feet of water.
