Dude, that's a video from Dieter Scheel's boat, Big "D" River Guide. He's a friend of mine and Ive been on that boat. He's got a sick River Pro jet boat and is as good as it gets on the Delaware. We had a great day with the stripers last May and going again the end of April.

Dropped in today (Sunday 4/3) kind of late (around 5:30 pm) off the Yardley PA boat ramp.

Water moving a LOT faster than it looks from shore once you're out in the middle. I had my 12" boat with the electric trolling motor, should have brought the Evinrude 4 hp because we couldn't get upriver at ALL with the troller- current was just too fast. From here on out I'm brining the gas engine on Big D-it's VERY uncomfortable being on the water w/out sufficent power to beat the currents etc.

So we fished w/in sight of the boat ramp for about 1.5 hrs, with no bites. Lost about 6 shad darts snagged on logs/crap on the bottom. Water slightly stained and about 12-15 feet deep in the Yardley area in the center channel. Water and air both very cold.

Stopped at New Hope on way home for beers and food- you can still smoke at the bars there just like the good old days. I love PA!
