Thanks for the update....keep em coming. It might take me a few weeks to get up there, but I'm speaking at the club meeting on 4/8 and hoping to take the day off and rent a boat from Laurie that day. I got a sweet smallie off Chestnut at the beginning of last April. One of the members saw me catch it and told me to weigh it in, but being pretty new to the club, I didn't know what he was talking about. I let it go. It was prob close to 4-lbs. and would have had a serious shot at winning or at least placing in the yearlong contest. Oh well, at least he got the chance to be caught again.

I would love to be able to make it up there soon but unfortuantely Im too restricted as far as time goes. The panfishing around here should turn on soon too, but the fish here lack the size you guys are catching.

Hey guys does anyone have any good tips for crappie as far as rigs go? I am heading to Greenwood Lake in NY and am going to give it a shot. I did some research and maybe a 1/4 oz bucktail? Let me know whats deadly!
