No fishing in the Delaware River this weekend. Note the bench in the picture. It is normally 15 yards from the river's edge.

Sorry. Washington Crossing.. Just an update The park bench in the pictures is now under water. Couldn't get close enough for another pic, the road along the river is now closed

The water level is dropping. As of this morning the bench was on dry land,make that muddy land.

Dont let the high water scare ya the walleye are in full swing in the nothern section at the mouths of the small tributaries 1/2oz whisler jig chartruse with 3inch white grub tipped with night crawler fished first light this morning caught and released 13 fish between 2-6lbs in 2 hrs should be like this for another couple weeks but remember c&r!!

Thanks for the info. For me the Delaware is always catch and release.

Hey Mattyfish, how far "north" for the walleye? Do you mean Easton area or up by Del. Water Gap?

Just below port jervis near rt 84 bridge
