The Spring Jersey Shore Boat Sale & Expo cruises into FirstEnergy Park, home of the Lakewood BlueClaws, in Lakewood, NJ May 14-16, 2010. This new spring boating sales event will feature new and pre-owned boats and accessories for sale by local marine retailers.

The event was organized by the Marine Trades Association of New Jersey (MTA/NJ) to offer a low cost, one stop alternative to consumers and marine retailers at an easily accessible and popular venue. The inaugural Jersey Shore Boat Sale & Expo was held September 18-20, 2009.

The new spring show will feature an even greater lineup up of new and pre-owned boats, boating products, accessories, services and much more. Attendees can easily get on board a variety of boats or walk the stadium concourse and reserve their summer slip, purchase the equipment or gear they need or attend a free fishing and boating seminar. Over 30 different boat lines will be on display offering the best selection and prices to kickoff the boating season.

The Fisherman Magazine and the Recreational Fishing Alliance (RFA) are again partnering up to present a great lineup of professional seminar speakers on Saturday, May 15th at the event. In addition, Congressman John Adler will be participating in the RFA Town Hall Meeting. Attendees will have the chance to talk to Congressman Adler and other New Jersey legislators about fishing and boating issues that matter most to them.
"The Jersey Shore Boat Sale & Expo is the most affordable, accessible and fun boat show around offering something for everyone that attends.

The location is easy to get, the cost to attend is only $2.00 and the list of exhibitors continues to grow. There is no better time than now to take advantage of the great deals that are available and get out on the water this summer," according to Rick Traber, MTA/NJ President and owner of Pier 47 Marina.

Event details including directions, a list of exhibitors and highlights can be found online at jerseyboatexpo (http://www.njfishing.com/forums/jerseyboatexpo.com).com. Admission is $2.00 per person, 12 and younger are free. The event will run from 11am – 7pm on Friday and 10am- 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.

All proceeds from the event will go back to the Association to support its efforts to promote and protect the recreational boating industry in New Jersey.
