How many of you use fire hose on your docks and what does it cost?
Does it protect your boat and dock?

You can find used fire hose on Ebay for around $35 a 50ft length. I have seen it on many docks as bumper material both in saltwater and freshwater applocations.

Another Idea is to goto the nearest local fire dept and ask what they do with the worn/used/damaged fire hose for the firehouse. You may find a fellow boater/fisherman that is also a firefighter that could hook you up..

We use fire hose on all our docks... it works great and lasts forever. Attach it with deck screws in a wave pattern.

Local fire house donates their old hose when we need some.

I found this stuff on CRAIGSLIST and thought some of you may want or need it.
I was not looking for a profit just my expenses for pick up and delivery GAS TOLLS and a hamburger.

I don't walk so I would get a friend to load it up and I would dump it in your driveway.

I took some of it 1 1/2" & 8" and have it here in BLOOMFIELD.
The rest is still in SADDEL RIVER, NJ....

I just wanted to know if it was still used on docks.

I can get around 1000 feet in sizes 1 1/2" and 8".
If you want it just pay my tolls and gas and a hamburger.
I have to go to SADDEL RIVER to get it. I don't walk so I have to get a friend to load it and then I will dump it in your driveway.
I live in BLOOMFIELD.
